Dreaming of a
White Goddess
Obsessed by the complex
history of my Asian/European roots, the dreaming
series explores the contradictory nature of my
ethnic and cultural identity. Favouring
Hollywood over Bollywood, my parents named me
Maralyn after one of their favourite movie stars
who died a year before my birth.
